Is there any fees required for registration ?
No, the registration for Ahmun is free.
What are the dates of AHMUN 2020?
The dates for AHMUN 2020 are 4th and 5th November 2021.
Who all can take part in AHMUN 2020?
All Avalonites from Grades 9 to 12.
Where will AHMUN take place?
Unfortunately, due to the Covid Pandemic, the conference will be conducted online, using ZOOM. Details for the same will be shared soon.
What is the dress code for AHMUN?
All delegates must be dressed in formals/semi formals. For Lok Sabha (AIPPM) delegates Indian wear is also allowed.
How to register for AHMUN 2021 ?
It will be put up in the HIGH SCHOOL GROUP on teams.
By when do we have to register?
Dates for registration are from 19th to 24th August (8pm). No registration will be permitted after the due date.
How should we prepare for the MUN?
The best way to prepare is to refer study guides will be provided and that your own research from trusted sites (wikipedia and newspapers from a particular country is not allowed).
What is a MUN?
Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the United Nations where students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country. The entire event is divided in several committees where each of them will have one pressing agenda to discuss.
The goal of every committee (with the exception of crisis) is to produce and pass a document called a Resolution which outlines the problems that the countries want to solve within the topic and the proposed solutions to those problems.
